valuable items being shipped out of town, which is the procedure in many other stores.

We also have the latest technology- a Laser Welder. With a laser welder we use heat in a totally different form.  An intense and focused beam is able to weld metals together without the danger of damaging nearby stones.  Also solder is not used in 90% of repairs, instead we use the same metal as the item being repaired, so it is stronger and blends to an invisible seam.  Platinum can be very difficult for a jeweler to work on because of the extreme high heat required to weld this metal.  This is why most jewelers can't re-tip platinum prongs with a diamond or gemstone near.  Jewelers using torches to repair platinum usually use easy flow solder, most of the time this being 18k white gold.  THIS is not so with our Laser welder.  We are able to use Platinum to re-tip or re build a prong.

Jewelry inspection and cleaning is always FREE at  Diamond Works.   We recommend you have your rings inspected every three months.

Our Services include:

Ring sizing - Gold, Platinum, Silver, Palladium

Re-shank Ring - If the bottom of your ring is worn thin, we can replace it with a new one.

Prong Repair -  Re-tipping prongs worn thin or prong replacement.  We use the same metal as the prong,  NO solder.

Stone Setting - Setting or replacement of diamonds and colored stones to match existing ones.

Chain Repair - welding, new clasps

Bracelet Repair - Tennis and link style bracelets broken at hinge are repaired like new. Add charms to bracelets.

Antique Jewelry- Many times this jewelry has a fine filigree design which using a torch would melt surrounding metal.  Not a problem with our Laser.

Heat Sensitive Stone-  Usually a jeweler would have to remove the stones to work on the item. Costing you more money to reset them.
                                   With our Laser welder this is not necessary.

Watch Batteries for most brands.

Pearl Restringing - The cord eventually weakens with age and can break.  Avoid loosing pearls by have this done periodically.

Insurance Appraisal - We can give a written appraisal on your diamond jewelry.
